918 Griffon Squadron Presents: An evening with Gary Mar

You are invited to come listen to Gary Mar, Q.C., who has generously volunteered to come and tell stories of how Air Cadets helped him become the person he is today and “What to Expect” from air cadets.

Gary is a lawyer and the current President and CEO of the Canada West Foundation, He is an Adjunct Professor at both the University of Alberta School of Business in Marketing, Business Economics and the University of Calgary’s Haskayne Business School

​

Some of Gary’s past experiences include: served as a Member of the Legislative Assembly in the Province of Alberta, for North Central Calgary, in various cabinet posts, he was the Official Representative (Minister-Counselor) at the Canadian Embassy in Washington D.C., he was an independent consultant working for both Chinese and Canadian companies seeking assistance with trans Pacific trade and investment.

Parents and Cadets are welcome to attend; however, due to the Squadron’s current COVID restrictions, only parents may attend in person. This is a hybrid event and we will be sending out virtual login information so Cadets may participate. There will be a donation stand with snacks and beverages.
